Rated 5 out of 5 by Good case but.... My overall rating is 5 stars because I know my phone is protected since I have been using the defender series on all my iPhones from the 3G to my 5. But..... unlike with my iPhone the screen protector does not fit flush with the phone which cause problems when I go to tap on something. Sometimes it takes two or three times to get to where I want or it will pull up something I didn't want. So I have decided since I like the case that I will cut the screen protector off and use a good quality screen protector that actually adheres to the screen it's self. Over all I think Otter box should either scrape the clear cover or work on the design to where it does fit flush! In close I do recommend the case if you want to keep your phone in good condition! Rated 3 out of 5 by Better Cases Out There And Less Money Not the best case. Have had others with Samsung phones that fit much better, and don't look as cheesey. Gap between the camera lens and plastic case, and no cover for the on off switch. Poor color choices, and the sleeve shows signs of major wear after about 1 week from skin oil I would guess. Tossed mine and moved on to something else that fits a lot better and wasn't as pricey either. May 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best product!! Otterbox rocks!! My HTC one (m8) fell out of my pocket on a roller coaster while in a otterbox defender. Took about a 90ft drop. It was found 3 days later after it had rained and was in perfect working order!! I will never use another case. I'm very happy with otterbox! April 21, 2014

Q:
There are a ton (and I mean, like it seems almost every review I've read about this case) of negative comments about how the screen protecting portion of this case is displaced from the body of the phone, causing a lot of functionality problems. Have there been any design changes since these review came out? It's enough to prevent me from buying this unless there's an indication that OtterBox has listened to feedback and fixed the problem.
